Primarily I document my journey on YouTube, and I'm still learning all of the things related to making videos. I am yet to find my style of video creation, but I would like to be able to create videos that are engaging to watch with good story elements.
I also have Instagram and TikTok accounts, but I'm yet to figure out a working "pipeline" of publishing consistently to those platforms. You can find my instagram here.
If you would like to support me financially, it is possible to do so here ☺️
My background
I'm in my mid thirties and have been working full time as a developer for over a decade. I've had a life long interest in woodworking, but never really acted on it until recent years, but woodworking out of an apartment in a city isn't very easy I guess.
Some years ago we moved from one of Sweden's major cities onto an old farm property in a rural area of west Sweden. My partner, our son and I now live here with our cats, chickens and ducks.
I have now set up a woodshop in the old barn, as well as a smaller woodworking station in a room in the basement of our house for the time of the year where an non-insulated hay barn isn't exactly suitable for fine woodworking.
My woodworking journey
As I still have somewhat limited practical experience with woodworking I obviously have a lot still to learn. But that learning journey is kind of the point of me starting to upload to YouTube, and I hope that will make it perhaps more relatable content.
My end goal over the next few years is to become really proficient with woodworking and to reliably be able to produce premium quality works. I want to keep it authentic and reliable, show my mistakes and what I learn from them.
If any of this sounds interesting, please check out my YouTube channel and subscribe if you haven't already. I will also send out a newsletter and a written post about every video I make, you can sign up for that here below.
